Mersea Island is a great place for a short break or day visit, with attractions on the island the local towns of Maldon, Colchester and Chelmsford within a short drive, it is the ideal place to stay. Mersea is famous for oysters and the fabulous regatta. Wonderful coastal walks and along the saltings
